SOTOGRANDE: QUALITY OF LIFE WITHOUT WORDS TO ADD
It always creates mixed feelings in me once we get into September in “my” Sotogrande.
No, please understand me well: I do not want to say that I do not like to be here in September, or in the winter. At the contrary, I love the tranquility, the space, our green, and the streets with fewer cars and the beaches with only a few sunbathers (25 September: great weather, blue sky and 25 degrees, still at 7pm!!!).
This Sotogrande is the real thing, the place in which I feel already for more than twenty years perfectly “at home”.
The Sotogrande in September is the place where I in Holland dreamt about during so many years. A place with sun, a nice climate, a place with space and green, and with next door an unbelievable pretty country side, and with nowadays also roads that allow me in minutes to dive into a more noisy and busy day and night live.
Sotogrande combines for me the best of all betters, the most desirable to live and work. And I know that I am not the only one with this emotion and opinion. Every day more people discover and confirm these qualities. For me it has always been a pleasure, and it still is, to help discover these qualities and “secrets” of Sotogrande and our direct surroundings.
So, why than these mixed feelings, you might think? Well, I believe they are comparable with the feelings after a great party, or a family reunion, or the joy of being together with a big group of friends. Of course I do miss “my” people after the summer. But luckily I know that most of them will come back again, because I am sure that they will miss Sotogrande: and a lot!
