The conference about Panama was a success

At the end of October we successfully celebrated 2 conferences dedicated to Panama, on the 22nd of October in the Financial Club San Miguel in Algeciras and on the 24th of October in the Finance Club Genova, located on Plaza de Colon in Madrid.
With the title “Panama, objective for business investment”, Van Loon & Partners has offered its clients and friends the opportunity to listen to 3 highly professionals speakers.

The first speaker, Mrs. Rossana Castrellon* (among her many academic titles, also that of ex-minister of foreign affairs of Panama) gave a good summary of the history, the current situation and the appeal of her country to investors in general and especially those interested in real estate.

The second speaker, Mr. Ramses Owens* (lawyer and partner of Mossack & Fonseca) proved he not only possesses a great knowledge of fiscal subjects relating to investments in Panama, but also the humoristic quality of an artist. Mr. Owens was therefore able to entertain the crowd while giving may interesting and important details for all of those who want to invest in Panama and/or want to make use of the many advantages of this financial centre.

The 3rd speaker, Mr. Jaime Ingram Hirsch (Panamanian and lawyer with more than 30 years of practice in Spain with offices in Madrid and Sotogrande) focused his speech especially on the fiscal and judicial situations between Panama and Spain and vice versa.
